About this guide: registers before reviews
Independent editorial project by UK casino editor Bethan Calder: licence claims checked on the UKGC register, changeable facts dated, conflicts printed as ranges, sponsored links disclosed.
Method: registers before reviews, dates on everything
This site exists because MrQ's search results split between stale pages citing the old operator and lookalike domains borrowing the name. Our method is unglamorous: the UKGC public register first, the operator's own pages second, independent reviews third, Trustpilot themes read in full last. Where sources conflict (offer sizes being the recurring case) we print the range and the date rather than the prettiest number.
Bethan Calder
UK casino editor · covering the UKGC market since 2019. Bethan's beat is the regulated UK market: licence transfers, no-wagering economics and payout rails. Method stats: 30+ UKGC operator accounts opened for testing, every licence claim checked against the register, zero tolerance for undated offer copy.
| We always | We never |
|---|---|
| Cite licence numbers you can check yourself | Copy competitor numbers without a source |
| Print offer ranges with dates | Quote one fixed bonus figure as evergreen |
| Mark sponsored links and firewall verdicts | Sell scores or placements |
| Name the trade-offs (modest offers, mid-size library) | Pretend a brand is perfect because it converts |
Corrections: contact page with a source, fastest route to a fix. The commercial model is described in the disclosure.
About this project
Who runs this guide?
UK casino editor Bethan Calder; independent project with no operator input into verdicts.
How is it funded?
Disclosed sponsored links. Commissions never touch scores, which is why offer sizes are described honestly as modest.
How are facts checked?
Primary sources first (UKGC register, operator pages), independent 2026 reviews second, complaint themes third; changeable facts carry check dates.
